Hello Stranger was back in Palm Springs, CA, for our now third annual throwdown: The Saguaro Desert Weekender. And what a throwdown it was! Poolside vibes galore on two consecutive weekends, coinciding with the unmissable Coachella Music and Arts Festival, in Indio, CA, on the weekends of April 11-13 and 18-20, 2014. It all took place at The Saguaro hotel in Palm Springs, a colorful and inviting boutique hotel property managed by Joie de Vivre.

Guests began each day with morning power Vinyasa flow classes from CorePower Yoga, allowing them to recharge and detox after the long festival and hitting the desert party circuit.
The Bacchanalia highlight of both weekends was Rhonda Queen of the Desert, taking place on both Saturdays, including performances from Pete Tong, Peanut Butter Wolf, Salon Acapulco, Plastic Plates and Kidnap Kid. The revelers were out indeed!
On the first Sunday, the legendary DJ Harvey hosted “Cool In The Pool,” an utterly flawless 6-hour journey through balearic, cosmic, disco, house and techno. There really could be no better way to enjoy a Sunday by the pool.
Artists and celebrities enjoyed refreshments in the private Rolling Stone media lounge, where they were gifted from Razer, Clashist, Keds, Miller, and 47 Brand. Those in attendance included Blake Anderson of Workaholics, Solange, Dev Hines (Blood Orange), Hot Since 82, Dillon Francis, Robin Anton (Pussycat Dolls), Shannon Funchess (The Knife), Andy Dick, Chloe Norgaard, Heather Eatherton, Claire Evans (YACHT), Aeroplane, and many more.
