Adam Hobbs: Adam is an award-winning marketer and strategist with over 16 years in the “biz.” His background in music is what has propelled him through his career, having started at Capitol Records working with some of the label’s biggest acts and forming the strategic marketing arm in which he brought those acts to some of the biggest brands in the world. From that point on he has been at the forefront of many marketing and promotional campaigns involving music, youth culture and entertainment while keeping his feet firmly planted on the music side of the business as well. While running his own agency for over 6 years, he was also the head of Modular Recordings for North America (Cut Copy, New Young Pony Club, Tame Impala) as well as the creator of a huge 30,000 attendee music festival during SXSW called Mess With Texas. In recent years, he has brought artists like Lady Gaga, Robin Thicke, Tiësto, Afrojack, Skrillex and Akon to brands like SanDisk, Toyota, Red Bull, Hitachi and Razer for campaigns on a global scale involving endorsements, events, experiential, social media, PR, branded content production, sweepstakes/contests and web/mobile development. His best campaigns were ones that involved everything in that last long sentence. Most importantly, Adam is a musician and a lover of the craft, playing in his own outlaw honky-tonk band all over California. So run and tell that.
